Evidence
Documents is real: files + retention_policies (V08_02) behind /v1/files and /v1/retention-policies, company-scoped, with bytes behind a FileStore seam (GCS or local disk). Live-proven on the dev catalog — a text file uploaded, listed, fetched back byte-identical, then expired by a retention policy: the sweep stamped expires_at and soft-deleted it, rows verified in Postgres. Deletes are soft everywhere; nothing is ever hard-deleted. Files stays on the hospitality document-center registration.
